A world-premiere musical with Skylight Music Theatre. This Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court setup puts a community theatre director into the fictitious 14th century world of Verona and also brings Shakespeare's characters to modern day Central Park, NYC. A good opportunity to work on the traditional Mercutio/Tybalt/Romeo fight without having to fight for rehearsal time (they're all secondary characters)! A treat to work with trained fighters!
"Also, the sword-fighting scenes lend some dramatic tension."
