AMDA (American Musical & Dramatic Academy)
I began my teaching career as the creator of the Stage Combat Division at AMDA, where I continued for 11 years. What began as a 2-week, substitute teaching gig eventually turned into a four-semester, advanced program within the acting division. I regularly taught 55 to 80 classroom hours per week in a tri-semester program (how did I do that?!) Great years with my two excellent teaching partners (my "work wives") and friends, Gregg Rochman and Tim Brown. I also met my real wife, Carole, at AMDA! Always great to see the numerous successes my many students from AMDA acrue.
